Hello ,
On the end of this June, Newcleo signed two agreements with Slovakia's nuclear companies, JAVYS and VUJE, to build up to four lead-cooled fast reactors (LFR) for €3.2 billion ($3.3 billion), utilizing Slovakian spent nuclear fuel for sustainable waste management and local business opportunities. The first agreement creates a joint venture for construction at JAVYS' Bohunice site, while the second focuses on technical and commercial cooperation with VUJE to advance LFR technology in Slovakia.
As a vital player in Slovakia's nuclear energy sector, VUJE involved in the Slovakia’s Mochovce Units 3&4 project began in 2007. Whate are diverse project challenges in large NPP constructions like Hinkley Point, Paks II., etc.? How to manage safety on large construction sites?
| We are very honored to announce that Andrej Ziarovsky, VUJE’s Director for Development and International Operations and also newcleo's Country Lead in Slovakia has confirmed to join the Europe Nuclear Energy & SMR Conference (ENES 2025, October 14-15, Prague, Czech Republic), as Panel Speaker, he will join the Panel Discussion about “Lessons Learned from New Nuclear Projects: Strategies for Managing Schedule, Costs and Safety in Diverse Environments”. |
