On June 14, Kozloduy NPP - New Build EAD showcased Bulgaria's largest and most significant project—constructing new nuclear facilities at the Kozloduy nuclear power plant—while seeking proactive engineers and experts eager to be part of the future of Bulgaria's energy sector.

It’s after the Nuclear Regulatory Agency of Bulgaria submitted an application for a permit to assess the site for the planned unit 8 at the Kozloduy nuclear power plant on February, which will utilize Westinghouse's AP1000 technology, and an engineering contract has been finalized with Hyundai Engineering & Construction, highlighting the necessity for skilled professionals in executing the project.

With its established nuclear industry and existing equipment, Bulgaria could potentially construct the first Westinghouse AP1000 in Europe, surpassing Poland in this endeavor. And what’s the latest progress of the Kozloduy 7, 8?
